I am not a therapist, counselor, or psychologist. The stories and poems I use on Creating Dreams are from my
own personal experience. I use the 12 steps as a guide because they have worked for me. The way I achieved
sobriety is not an endorsement, in anyway, as the only means to long term sobriety. I provide various links to
different sites with other messages for recovery. Ultimately, the way you choose to remain sober and clean is your
choice.
While I believe in the AA program as a means to obtaining long term sobriety, this site is not affiliated or endorsed
by Alcoholics Anonymous.
On this site, I use the 12 Steps of Co-Dependents Anonymous (CODA) as my guide for dealing with my issues with
this disease. This site is not affiliated or endorsed by CODA.
I also use the 12 Steps of Adult Children and again this site is not affiliated nor endorsed by ACA/ACOA.
The 12 Steps of Self-Parenting were written Patricia O'Gorman, Ph.D. and Philip Diaz, M.S.W. While I have not
been endorsed nor affiliated with Patricia O'Gorman, Ph.D. and Philip Diaz, M.S.W. They have granted me
permission to share their program with my audience.
Also, I am not a cancer survivor, but rather a caretaker of a long term survivor, my wife. I share my thoughts on
